Her goal is to share the love, joy and peace that she has learned to feel on the mat, and share her experience to empower her students to believe in themselves, their strength and their absolute beauty.

Michelle Vanca

Having been trained in traditional Pilates and yoga, Michelle is a believer in integrating all different kinds of movement into her practice--and integrating her practice into daily life movement.

After overcoming her own health challenges she became a passionate advocate for sustainable fitness routines that prioritize self-love, mental clarity, and emotional well-being. She believes true strength comes from nurturing the complete individual, with a spirit of curiosity and playfulness.

Following years of personal practice, Michelle decided to study as a teacher. First with Power Pilates in NYC - from there, she went on to complete her YTT 200 with Alchemy Academy. She is certified in Yin Yoga, Restorative Yoga, and the Melt Method with Sue Hitzmann.

She continues to educate herself with the most recent research on fascia. Her ongoing interest in the connection between the latest science and traditional energetic healing methods inspires ongoing studies, including her passion for leading sound bath events.

She is prenatal certified and plans to continue on her yoga journey with a 300-hr training in the new year. Kindred is a labor of love for Jackie; she couldn’t be happier to bring the benefits of this ancient practice to her home town.

Mike Gobbo, Owner

Mike completed his 200-hr RYT in 2024 from Soul Practice Yoga with the amazing Sally Rodriguez Hamm. As an avid yoga enthusiast he’s enjoyed having an in-home instructor in his wife Jackie for over a decade but decided to pursue his own certification as well.

As a multi-sport athlete in his childhood as well as four seasons of college football at Fairleigh Dickinson University he suffers from chronic pain from old injuries. Yoga has provided a welcomed relief for the physical pain as well as mental. As a health and safety professional and volunteer firefighter in Leonia, he is excited and determined to show the benefits of yoga in all aspects of a person’s life and the community at large.
